Travis does the swap for the b15 platform. he does't own any of them though. All of the swaps he's done were on customer's cars.

The first one he did was for an 04 spec v and the other, that I can recall were for 02-03s.

He stopped production of the b15 swap kit for a while, don't know if he started to sell them again.

oh and this has to be one of my fav videos:

Wow, that thing pulls hard. I didn't think those were customer cars. Pretty badass. I hope Travis one day starts to produce a B13 VQ kit.

Well, considering most of the classic guys are very cheap and want the best bang for the buck, no. A lot of guys are younger and don't have that much money to throw up at once. Although, there are a few people that have the opportunity to do it and it would be very nice. Would be cool to see an 11 second all motor B13 which I am more then postive should be attainable with the VQ in a gutted B13.

That's exactly what we're aiming for, low 12's to high 11's.

Considering how well the VQ responds to mods, I think it should be easily attainable. Plus on top of the performance area, it would be cool as fu*k to see a little B13 let out such a deep throaty note from the motor. I look foward to this car you guys are building.

If I was a younger lad, as many of you are, I'd go for the B15 swap. The chassis have really started to come down in price, the VQ/B15 swap already exists with mostly off the shelf stuff, plus no one is going to expect a B15 to haul-ass.

B13's have been hauling ass for a long time now. People are wise to our sh*t. A B15's, on the other hand, would surprise a lot of folks. Not to mention the B13's are getting tired. Rust, has many of them on the ropes. There's something to be said about starting with a fresh car were everything and the wipers doesn't need to be replaced.

that is something that people dont seem to realize when they are buying an older car like a b13.

Most people are now buying any condition classics just because someone has a nice ass one that is built and they want to do the same. They don't realize how much work is really involved to get a classic to be in mint condition.

HammerinHank-I was just stating where to find the B15 swapped VQ run on streetfire. Nowhere did I say that it was a b13 or b15 really. I was obviously referring to the b15 though since dude asked what it ran, the b15 w/VQ. I'm confused why you quoted me and asked where the b13/VQ vehicle was at because I'd like to know too actually. Well, we'll just have to wait on Travis for that one.

correct, just different bell housings and internals.

For the b15 swap, we just use the stock trans w/ maxima bell housing. '03+ specs have the best gearing.
