owned by curb

So I hit some black ice tonight and curb checked the front right wheel. Wheel is obviously bent and I have about and inch or so of toe out. The wheel seems to have hit the curb parallel [left turn+understeer].

My question is, what is the first thing to bend?

Im thining LCA becuase its the loest part of the suspension, but also maybe the strut?

Any ideas? I am goign to get it off the ground tomorrow after work and check it out.

This happened aroudnt his time last eyar to me too, with in 20 feet, but it was my honda, and I had to replace prac tically everything in the weel well.

LCA, strut. inner & outer tie rod.
All could be bent.

i actually got run off the road not too long ago. i hit a curb head on and flattened the front and rear tires and messed both rims up. fortunately, the only thing that got messed up was the strut. check that and the control arm. my brother bent his when he hit a curb. then the tir rods.

Well i got it up in the air, the inner tie rods are rusted pretty bad, so i cant move the jam nut much. Im thinking it may be time for a XE manual rack. Pretty sure the LCA is bent, and it looks as if I may be force to just go ahead and doo my GC/AGX setup early....

I hit a curb once as well. My strut and lca were fine but it pretzeled the tie rod pretty well.

I bought my car wrecked, the old lady hit an embankment around a turn. It had a bent tie rod and a bent A-arm. I bought a new A-arm from a junk yard for 30$ and heated the tie rod up and bent it back in to shape

I have a new LCA and still waiting on a new ball joint. Put a new inner tie rod on and got it up o spec for tow [~1/16] in. Threw a cam bolt on there to eye up camber temporarily. Waiting to fix a situation with some struts I bought on here.
