Start off by disconnecting the battery. After that, remove the air intake and clutch cable so you have room above the tranny. Then you should see the starter. It is held on by two screws, probably a size 14 but don't quote me on that. You also will have to disconnect the wires going to it. After you get the two long screws off and the wires it should come out no problem at all. Good luck!

Just feel around for it. You will eventually find it. I didn't have fun doing it either but its there. Patience...

It shouldn't take too long. Its a pretty easy job. Once you get it out you will know how it goes back in and should be cake.

Its not an automaitc is it? Autos do this thing where they won't start unless you either put it in neutral or give the shifter a knock with the butt of your palm.

Well it was worht a try. Mine did that for 80,000 miles until I spun a bearing on it last year while being stupid. Sorry guess you gotta change the starter.

ok well today me and sum buddies took out my starter and took it to autozone... then after that we tryed it in this machince 6 times and it passed.. so the starter is still good, then only thing that was bad was the connection that wasnt tight enough to get a good connection. so therefore we tightend it up, and now everytime i start it it winds up pretty damn cool///
