Deep dish wheels...

I have always been a fan of the Volkswagen guys tucking their crazy deep dish wheels under their fenders. If was wondering what wheels are out there that would be a nice look and fit on our classic's. I want something in a 15x7 or 16x7, maybe even a little wider if I could. I know the offset will have to be right but I love the wheels and I need to try and find a set for the spring time. I would love to find some BBS mesh wheels in 4x100 but anything I find is in Cali. Does anyone have some opinions or pictures of B13's with nice wide/mesh wheels?

Here are a few examples of the kind of wheels I want on my car...

^with a wide lip.

And the other type of wheels like SSR Formula Mesh wheels with a nice lip. I just want a different look for the new year. Wide and low.

Sorry for whoring these out, but I think they may be what you are looking for. I bought them with the same Idea in mind, but they sent me the wrong colors.

They've got a good size lip probably about an inch and a half, but I understand. Check out "yeedles" thread in the wheel and tire section, he's got BBS knock-offs that look pretty legit.

I'm sure there are some knockoffs out there that are nice. I have also seen some BBS wheels go for cheap but not 4x100.

Lol, I'm scared someone would like them more than me and decide to take them. I like how the mesh wheels look more old school to compliment the looks of the B13 and not attract a lot of attention like my 17's.

Nismotuner, trust me on this. If you want BBS wheels at 1/3 the price get ASA's from Tirerack. They are licenced from BBS and are practically the same wheels minus a tick or two.

Thanks bro. I wouldn't mind some used rims either. Just looking for something a little nicer than the stock wheels but nothing outrageous to where everyone and their grandma's will look at me. Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to check out what other rims ASA offers. Those do look nice on that classic!
