I need your opinion please

ok so the S4's are in and i asked forum member AFSTEGG to install them, my question is once he’s in there in the process of installing them should i have him throw in some rocker arm stoppers? I’ve heard pos and Neg about these, i was wondering if any of you guys have experience with them? and what you though of them... i mostly am going with valve springs and retainers also...not sure yet...LMK know what you guys think

my opinion : If you plan on revving high I'd leave them out. Youd much rather throw a rocker arm as opposed to smash a valve into a piston.

^^^^
What he said. Better to buy a few $30 rocker arms than redo a head.

A very quick SEARCH comes up with this thread:

http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread....ghlight=Rocker

And here is Chriscar, Choaderboy2, Bigtoe, and Andreas Miko's opinions:

http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread....ghlight=rocker

This thread will help you tremendously:

http://www.sr20forum.com/new-members/149841-search-tips-hjbarker-crew.html

In one of the links that I just provided, I also provide a link/quote to Andreas Miko telling you how to install cams. Gotta be careful. Afstegg probably knows what he is doing, I think he knows his shizzy. However, a quick glance at Miko's advice couldn't hurt.

Best of luck to you.
