so what about the suspension, is there any limitations to the non-SER models when i want to upgrade? this is going to be for Autocross, so i essentially want the same platform as if i bought an SE-R.
Hi, I'm new to the forum, but I've just been browsing for a few months. I bought my 91 SE-R for $350 with a blown engine. I bought the car from a scrap dealer/junkyard. The previous owner couldn't find another SR20, so they scrapped the car. To my luck is when I came across her while looking for a radiator for my wife's van. I swapped in a low port from a G20 and came across the problem of not wanting to turn over. I took my SE-r to a Nissan specialist to seek out the problem. The body and paint is in great condition. You'll find one out there somewhere, trust me they're around. To find them is the key.
my 4 door xe used to rock a gay16de but not anymore...... its hella easy to swap. you can find a decent low mileage sr for around 300 - 400 dollars (american)

No problems on the suspension, you're gonna upgrade/change everything anyways.
not sure if you have gotten this yet. but any suspension for 91-94 SE-R will work on a 91_94 none se-r.......same car save the engine and a few other things.
