You have to trim the middle out a bit to make it fit correctly. Stand by for a bit more detail, with a couple of pics.

Be care ful on how much you trim, I suggest doing a bit at a time, or you will end up with a "buck-tooth" type gap in the front.
Like mine, lol

Best thing to do is to line up the sides with the edge of your wheel well first, that will give you a good idea on where the middle needs to be.

Man that blows brother, but look at it like this, if you get the pieces close enough together the gap won't be that bad. Besides, nothing a bit of bondo and a rattle can can't fix.

you wouldnt have to cut in the middle at all. just trim the inside corners, so that you can have it flex inward and conform to the lines of our bumpers.

Even trimming the inside corners, it is still too long, it will end up sticking out past the inside of the wheen well. After trimming it to length make straight cuts in the corners to allow it to bend easier and it will conform just as well, but taking about an inch out of the middle is still needed.

Thats what i was thinking also. It took some flexing to get it to fit right

easiest way to do it, i know ive done it over 3 times with 3 diff lips.

start by mounting the ends on the wheel well then work your way in. when u get to the center u can adjust/cut to make it fit perfect. easier said then done though, mine actually needs a bracket in the center to look perfect.

stratton.

I did this myself and cut about an inch too much and had a terrible gap. Finally took the lip off this weekend. Like someone said, use some bondo and fill in the gap then shoot it with black spray paint. In my case, I need to buy a whole new lip.

I didnt cut my 626 lip but it just took alil bit longer to fit it up right. The lip sits out on the front of the bumper more.
