Don't know what to say.

Went outside about 10min ago to put oil in my car, and noticed it was rolled back. Thought my mom had done it so i thought nothing of it. Went to open the hood. Turns out there is a huge dent in the front. Called my mom.."O yea, sorry, I didn't think anything was damadged". My hood is all bent up, as well as the front grill, which was hit and pushed in my top rad support. I'm wondering just how easy this will be to replace. As mentioned, hood clearly needs to be replaced, as well as the top rad support. My radiator fan is pushed in about 2inches, but it still clears the o2 sensor. So. Does the rad support need to be welded in? It looks like it might come out with screws, but maybe that is wishful thinking. Anyone with decent experience, can you perhaps explain how I can be sure nothing else is bent? I spent about 10min trying to see if my fender was bent from the rad support being pushed in, it seems ok. But I want be be sure everything is checked out. Cannot get pics yet, but I will work on it. Thanks.

Dudeman.

Unless your mom was coming down from a crystal meth-induced bout of psychosis when she backed into your car, it can't be that banged up.

The radiator support is made out of the same material as a Coca-Cola can. Bend it back out by pulling on it. You do not want to replace the radiator support -- yes it needs to be welded in. Yes, you need to buy a new one, yes, it sucks.

For the other parts, hit the local junkyard. With a little bit of luck, you'll find a hood in the matching color.

I hit a deer going ~20mph a couple months ago, and I chose to bend out the rad support over replacing it (BTDT).

Thanks for the reply Todd. Yea, I am pretty bumbed about this. My mom already told me she would replace what needs to be fixed, but the thing is I know she cannot afford it. The Support I bent back, and aside from being a little screwed, it looks ok. My grill is cracked but that can wait. And luckily my headlight is ok too. The worst part is, the hood is really bent. And I already know their are no hood's around here, so I am going to have to look at my other options. One option is CF, but again, that is going to cost me over $500. The problem is, if i get a used hood, not only will shipping be allot, but if I cannot find a back one, paint will cost allot too. It just gets to me because my car was perfect before, now it will never be the same again. I guess you can sympathize....
