I think it would look better with the spray like he said. Give the taillights a shot of a nice red translucent paint then a few light coats of the tint spray. That would give the car a very nice look. All black, its not really to my liking. Reminds me of the GTS covers in the 90's. Just being honest!

what, ameen(XxTOKESxX) didn't chime on this! wow.

Yeah mang, do the spray job. It'll last longer than the tint and won't scratch easily.

where did you get the peel stuff from to do that?

I usually tint spray and clear, but that looks like a decent alternative...

BTW i read all of you're (XxToKesxX) write ups. the car looks GREAT!

All it is tint for you're car windows %35 to be exact, its like $5 at advanced for a narrow strip just big enough for our lights. Like I said before I did this just to see what it would look like on my car, and get some opinions.

I have read all the write ups, I am going to go all red w/ a bit of VHT Nite Shade to darken them up a slightly. that sound good?

yeah, you know what to do...

I guess my question was how the hell you got it to stick around the curves of the lights... like the corner section. That's crazy...

um should i do a write up on it? like the AWESOME one you have done on using paint to do it, its simple really. io used a spray bottle with a slightly soapy solution, and a foam squeegee to to get the water out from under it, so it doesn't stick till you squeegee it out...

Like the look, on a black car it would look best for that stealth look. I did smoke spray on my black classics but not as dark as yours. On lighter color cars the red spray effect seems to be the better option but Tokes has a clean ride and has done the smoked tails just right IMO.

I do not like it at all. Not even a little.
