Not sure what this means.
Short version: Changing the '91-'92 front to a '93-'94 is _not_ the path to installing the Super Saloon grille.
I have a '92 SE-R & the '91 Sunny "SS-in-circle" grille. It seems me to be
much harder to fit to a '93-94 B13. The JDM model that used this grille had a filler piece that was straight across. The '91-'92 USDM filler strip between the headlights/grille area & the bumper cover was a little taller directly below the grille area, and the US grille was shorter to match. The '93-'94 USDM is all different. Compare pics in the forum & you'll see what I mean.
The guy who did the interesting but often-painful-to-read project series in, I think, Sport Compact Car, went into how he butchered the deeper front filler from the ''91-'92 to make it straight so as to fit the SS grille. He went on at some length on why his way of doing it was stupid because it was so hard to cut the metal filler down smoothly. The '93-'94 has the side filler strips below the headlights, and the area between them is part of the grille itself.
Looking at pics, some folks just leaned the taller SS grille back under the front edge of the hood of the '91-'92, while others seem to have clipped off the lowest of the seven horizontal bars of the SS grille, which makes it just about perfect to fill the horizontal space between the '91-'92 hood & bumper. I'm leaning toward doing this to install mine, but I kinda hate to chop on the grille, even if it doesn't compromise its looks.
I've saved a lot of forum pics of these grilles installed by forum members, but am having trouble pasting them into this post, which would make things much clearer. Take a stroll through the "Members' Rides" section, as well as the two "B13 Roll Call" threads to see some examples. Here's the first one:
