Subframe connectors

Hello Guys,
The prototyping is nearly complete for the B15 Sentra. We are now looking for a B13 from Central MN to prototype. We are located in St. Cloud. This project will take at least one whole day and perhaps 2. I have posted here before regarding our work on the Nissan Maxima. If you haven't seen the treads here are a couple of them.

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....sfc+sfcs+truax

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....sfc+sfcs+truax

Of course your car 's application will be different. We haven't looked under a B13 yet because we have not found one here. Please post your name if you are interested. Having a list would be helpful. We typically need at least 10 on the list to go ahead. This is not a solid comittment to buy, but an indicator to us that there is enough interest to take Sean away from his other prototyping work.
Not sure if this offends this forums rules, but if it does, administrator please contact me with proper way to do so. I have been in contact with Matt Hunt, he's been helpful and informative. You can contact me @ truaxmotorsports@gmail.com

Regards,

Dan TMS

I am not in your area, nor in any current financial situation to commit.

However, I love the idea of additional chassis stiffening products for our rather flimsy cars.

I hope you get enough serious purchasers to make this an available product.

Subscribed.

can you imagine this!? FSTB, fender braces, progress lower control arm brace, these subframe connectors, RSTB/IKEA brace, triangulated harness bar. all street legal stuff but would make your chassis ROCK HARD!

Nice. Anything you could do to mimic the construction and design of Flying Miata's Butterfly brace would have me on board to purchase one.

Your just adding too much weight on your car.
sway bars are good enough.

Swaybars are far less effective with a flexy chassis. Once you firm up the chassis, then tuning with bars, springs, and dampers actually WORKS.

I noticed a nice handling improvement after installing my roll bar. Sure it's 60 lbs (WAG) added, but I wouldn't change it...

uhhhhhh, how much do you about suspension dynamics big guy?

the more you stiffen your chassis the less you acually feel your suspension. it does its job more effectively. say you are useing 300lb springs now, the ride may be alittle stiff, maybe way to stiff for some. stiffen up the chassis useing structural foam/ misc chassis bars/ roll bar ect. that same spring will feel much softer because the load is not being transfered around the wet noodle of a chassis the car once had, the suspension is doing the work.....all the work.

The entire kit is $390. The pair of side rails are available seperately for $190 from Flyin' Miata.

Heck, that's damn reasonable for what you get. I'd probably be on that if I had a Miata...

sfc

Still looking for a MN based B13 Sentra. Our group buy is going on right now for the B15 Sentra, see photos in the GB section. There has to be at least one car within driving distance. Let's get this done!

chassis brace

BoggeN, please send me an email with your phone # and more information. truaxmotorsports@gmail.com I know Sean has been wanting to do the B13 for quite a while. We would need your car for at least 1 day. You might be able to borrow my Maxima while we do it. Where are you from??
