92 OR 93 ? WHICH YEAR DO I HAVE ???

My registration states 1993. Label on door jam states manufactured SEP/1992.

Front bumper has the lower molded lip, and the front view of the bumper is the style bumper with 2 outer fog lights holes with a bigger horizontal opening / hole in between.

Car is red, but the front and rear bumpers are not. They're more like faded gray, possibly dull black color. Can tell that car was repainted in some areas - not sure if bumpers were replaced or not....

Bought vehicle used. I know it's not an SE-R. Hood says 1.6L.. No power windows or locks either - does that make it as XE, SE, or what? There's a similar generation vehicle I saw that had SE-R striping on it and the B13 SE-R rims, but we had the SAME bumper.

Thought B13 SE-R's had different bumpers and lip / body kit ?

Researching and wasn't sure, so I'd rather check with you folks. Do I have a 93 or a 92 ???? XE, SE, etc...Are the front bumpers the only difference in the two years?

aka, you know how they sell 2007 cars in 2006?

They have been doing that for a long time my dude...

91-92 bumper is different than the 93-94 bumper... its probably an XE, if it has no power steering its a E model... Your car is most likely a 93.

i still dunno why people still say this but, im pretty sure only the 94 has the different bumper. ive been to the junk yard many times and all the 93 bumpers are the same as the 91 and 92's. i think if the car is made after june or july or something, then it will become the year of the next, meaning, made 08/91 becomes a 92 model...

93 SE-R bumpers had the lip...the others did not.

My brothers 93 and my old 93 both had the lower lip. Unless the bumper was replaced with another, all 93 - 94 SE's and SE-R's came with the bigger front bumper.

look at the emissions sticker under the hood (if its the original) that will always tell you the model year also

Its most likely an SE. Does it have the inner tails that go all the way past the keyhole and loer sills painted to match the body? Thats another 93/4 SE trait.
