rim size for classic

anybody know if 16x8 rims will fit? i've search see people talk about 15's just was wondering if anybody has ran this size rim and what a good tire size would be, your input would be helpful Thankxs

16x8 will fit depending on the offset. 35-40 will be fine.

can someone school my monkey is 1 post about offsets. so the bigger the number (+44) the ?.

i found coaches thread but still ehhhh... yes noobie i am. The reason i ask is because i have a choice to go 33 which is standard and 44.

school me. sorry off topic but yes zerogravity and a few busted it out the 8 inch width rims fit.

yea ive read those threads and they didnt tell me anything that helped me out.
i was thinking of +15 mm offset or is that to low of an offset?

wayyyyyy to low. off set is like this:

0 off set (i beleive) would be the hub is at the inside of the wheel completely. meening you have a 6 inch wheel......you have a 6 inch lip +30 would be farther inward toward the centre of the wheel.

this is most likely off but the "concept" should be somewhat correct. just wikipedia that sh*t

someone said for 16" you look for 35-38

tirerack said 38 for a 16x7

also, i can't wait for get my 16x7 with 37 offset on

you mean wantanabe 8 spoke I think right? did you get that off memory fab because I was eyeing those for some time but didn't bite.

nice gthough.

so 44 is way to much offset for 16 then I assume.

Yup, they're wantanabe's. I got them from jhot in GA.

so which would be the perfect offset for 16x8? and maybe 205-40-16 tires? also im running eibach sportlines w/ i believe to be 1.5 or 1.25" drop

35-38 with a 35 you might need a small spacer like 5mm

correct me if i'm wrong
