seems like water pump is out, a few ???

my sentra has not been driven for about a month now. i dont drive it in the winter much especially if there is salt out. i have to take my pickup to the dealer tomorrow so i needed my sentra up and running. i had to charge my battery so it would start.

after starting, a hidious squeal started coming from my car. i figured it was my belts and because the car hadnt been started in a while. i turned it off after about a minute and checked the belts, tension was fine. started the car again and no more squeal. After i let it warm up i tried to move the car and noticed that my temp was already at 230 on a 0 degree day in chicago. so i shut the car off and checked for leaks. i did not notice any leaks so i figure my pump is out due to it being siezed.

my question is, since it is in such a tight space, is there anything else that i should change now that i will be tackling this job. p/s parts or hoses. my p/s resivour is always leaking so i will change that. i just want to avoid doing this work again later on other parts. i have a few write ups and it doesnt look hard. just wanted to know about ordering other parts before i get started. thanks

joshua

even at 210 temp, i get no heat coming out of my car. could that be a sign of a bad thermostat or pump because lack of water circulation?
