weird no heat when driving

I have a 93 se-r, when im driving and its cold out my heater doesnt blow warm air and my temp gauge drops when on the blower feet/face setting. When I drive with the full defrost setting the temp goes up and i feel some heat coming out near winshield. I hate gremlins! Please help

Sounds like your thermostat might be sticking, I had the exact same problem.

unless you are turbo or highcompression OEM is the only way to go.

also once you change it do this. so you have no air bubbles. find a funnle you can shove into the radiator opening and have it stick there. then fill the rad untill the funnel is half full. turn the car on and turn heat on high and let it run untill you feel heat in the lower rad hose. then rev it a few times makeing sure all air bubbles are gone.
