tempeture gauge problem

i noticed it started today it seems that when i give my sentra some throttle the water tempeture gauge goes down as the rpms rise has anybody had this problem if so any info how to fix it would be greatly appreciated

Check your grounds, especially the one from the battery to the chassis thrn to the thermostat housing.

Mine does this as well. Even when I'm just revving the engine. All of my lights in the dash pulse as well.

This is a common problem. It is caused by vibration at the water temp guage sending unit. Over time, the contact between the connector and the sending unit itself breaks down and engine vibration interrupts the signal to the guage. Replace your guage sending unit and this will probably fix the issue. If you search around you will be able to find the location of the part and instructions on how to do this.
