Swap ECU and A/C does not engage

Evening all. I have what seems to be an obvious question. I guess I'm just looking for a little confirmation. I swapped my ECU and now my A/C does not turn on. Swap the ECUs back, A/C works. Bad ECU? I just don't remember that ECU having that problem.

By the way, I'm the original owner of a black '91 SE-R. I've been lurking around this forum for a couple of months, but have not posted much.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Matt

Hey Matt,

What ecu did you replace it with? why? I had a similar problem with my b13 when i installed a 91-92 2.0 ecu on to my 93 se-r.

Well, the car has been sitting for a while and I've been trying to get it running better. Save gas and all. Years ago, I replaced the original ECU w/ a junkyard ECU. Somewhere along the way, it was replaced for me, without my knowledge, by someone (I think SR20Development) with an ECU that is marked BAD. Much to my dismay when I noticed that! So, I thought I'd put the original back in to see if I could fix some of my idle issues. The ECU in there is the original ECU that came with the car. It has the same markings as my other BAD ECU (with which the A/C works).

The markings on the ECU:

38
A11-B22 B98

I checked the numbers out on the JWT page, it's a 91 MT SE-R B13 ECU.
