im having a new clutch installed act 6puck sprung clutch disk w/ heavy duty ppl was wondering do i have to resurface my stock flywheel or am i ok without doing it....many people says *** it comes to replacing new clutch they resurface it just that i cant find a place that will do it for me n a short amount of time....any suggestion how bad or worst it can be not resurfacing ur flywheel?...thanks n advance
Most auto parts stores have a place that can have it done within a day. Maybe not in their store, but they usually have a hub that will do it that their trucks run to on a daily basis.
When doing any repair, especially some grunt work, you want to rule out all possibilities of doing it twice. Resurface your flywheel.
If you going through the trouble of the clutch why not do it right? OReilyes auto parts just did my a couple of weeks ago for 20 dollars.
