Just finished 5th gear popout fix!!!

I just got done doing the fifth gear popout fix using the step by step found in the drivetrain tech section of the forum and I must say it was pretty easy. I ordered the kit from Courtesy Nissan, dropped the tranny, put in the new parts, and put it all back together. What a difference!!! Trans shift great, feels smoother, and most importantly I have 5th gear all the time (even under 9psi of boost). Just wanted to let everyone know not to be scared, it's a fairly easy fix, and once you read through the step-by-step a few times it all makes sense. Also, if anyone in the Missouri area needs this done and can't afford to pay a shop 1K or more to fix, I would be happy to help you out for much less. Anyway, I've got to get washed up and go for a driiiiiivvvvveee (Yeehaw boost!)!

yeah, it's great! I have been driving the car everyday, and I love it. Now I just have to get to the point that I understand turbo systems a little more so that I can have even more fun (used to v8 engines). Again, if anyone is contemplating doing this, just do it. It's really simple and just about anyone can do it. I would have never attempted it without reference pics though Now if I can just find some new window seals I will get this car torn down for paint so it will look as good as it runs.
