help please!!!!

i recently changed my valve cover to the neo vvl one. i took out the oil separator a.i.v and resonator routed all the house the way they should be, but what i dont understand is the the car does not have a solid idle it jumps up to 2 thousand rpm and drops and keeps doing it. what i think is the switch on the right side of the head is causing it to act up because i moved it down, because there was a threaded hole so i decided to move it there cause the vtech valve cover didnt provide enough clearance for me to put the hose in. can someone please help me!!!!!!!
