i read on the forum that you cant remove the side rear window moldings ? is this true? they said you have to remove the glass with it. im in the process of painting the car and im removing all the moldings and i was gonna ask the best way to remove them, but now people are saying you cant?
yeah you have to take out the whole glass, you can reuse the moldings again as long as they don't break, if they do break, you have to buy a new glass, which sucks
HEY WHATS UP.....IM AN AUTO GLASS TECH..........ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS TAKE OF THE INSIDE PANELS AND REMOVE THE 9MM BOLTS AND PUSH AWAY IF ITS HARD TO COME OUT USE A BLADE TO CUT OUT THE GLUE.
oh lol i was explaining how to remove the glass.........the glass is bonded meaning the moulding and glass are one.... so if u have a bad moulding then ur gona have 2 replace the hole thing......let me know if u guys need new ones ill hook it up
Hook me up? Man I got a 91 I bought from a junk yard and got it runnin that day. ALL the moldings are dry rotted with segments missing. And I know they're gonna break when I take them out. I've been running in primer for 3 years now. I want a paint job and hate taping.
I dont even know where I can get new seals and moldings in general. But let me know about your hook ups. thanks
