HELP GUYS!!! my 92 ser alternator fried,putting out @12 volts while running at battery.bought a used B15 alternator from local yard to upgrade from 80A to 100A. B15 alternator came with 2 connections attached,cut @10 inches.1 connector plug with 2 thin wires and 1 ring connector with fat wires on a post.my B13 alternator has 3 connections. 1 small ring terminal to body of alternator(ground?)1 connector plug with 2 thicker wires.2 ring terminals on a post.my 2 ring terminals don't fit the B15 post(larger size than B13 post).do i make my connections as i would to a B13 alternator(replacing ring terminals to connect to larger post)?is B13 wiring harness ok with 100A alternator or does wiring have to be upgraded.anyone know what these wires are and where they go?any help is appreciated.
OK don't mean to sound stupid but clarify what year(s) the B15 is please. I have an alt. from a P11/G20 that's 80 amps on my B13 but it would be nice to have 100 amp being as I have a ton of electronics in my car. Thanks.

Anyone have more than 400K on the original motor give me a shout. I'd like to here about it. Now at 411K, the saga of the SR20 finally comes to an end.

For a B13, get a 2000/2001 Sentra SE alternator.

Ok, so I just did the B15 alternator swap on my '92 G20. I had forgotten about one single "mod" that has to be done. Maybe you guys would have another way to do it, but this is how I had to handle it with no other spare parts available.
See the arrow, I had to split the ring terminal to fit over the larger stud on the B15 alternator:
Then, fit another nut over the terminal and cinch it down:
- What about using a standard B13,B14, or B15 alternator in a 00-02 G20? My alternator is making an annoying whining noise and I want to swap it out. I thought it was the power steering pump, but after farther investigation, it turned out the be the alternator. I have some spare in storage, just wondered if they would work.

I've used the B15 alt on my 94 SE-R and what I did was used my bastard cut tool and just opened up the hole to fit the larger post. Never changed the pulley though just adjusted the belt. I burned through a few ***, due to 5th gear popiut at the time, and I drove 85-90 mph everytime I got in it a hit the hwy( 90% of my driving). They'd last abt 9-10months then start dying in me. But again 100+mph runs were frequent as a lot of turners went to work in the morning in my neighborhood.
