For a drag only car, it might work. But, you have to realize that the Maxima motor is big and heavy. The engine bay of the Maxima is bigger, and the motor bearly fits in there. As for a street-able car, forget it. I know someone who had a Civic with a Prelude motor, and the car was great in a straight line, but that was it. The motor was so heavy, that the suspension was compressed the entire time. A turboed or NOSs SR20 will kill a Maxima, and cost less.
