How do you keep the glove box door from falling out?

In my '93 Sentra SE-R - the glove box door just falls out onto the floor when you open it. It still has both metal hinges that slide into the dash but it seems like theres nothing to hold them in, and thus, the entire glove box door falls out on the floor rendering the glove box useless (unless you close and click the door shut)

Is there some kind of plastic connector, or do the little glove box door arms need to be bent a certain way to hold it in?

There is supposed to be a plastic lip/hinge along the bottom that should have 4 screws attaching the door to the rest of the dash panel. Those arms are there to stop the door from flopping open.

They do ths a lot. I open the whole thing up and put two big zip ties arount the ends of the door hinge sliders.

Sure it doesn't slide so good anymore but do you really use it for map reading or cup holder?
