400K miles and still going.

Well the DD work horse hit the big 400K. I must admit this has been one of the best cars I've ever owned. Of course that's also quite a bit of maintenance along the way but it's payed off well so far. Doesn't use much oil either between changes so I really can't complain.

Just thought I'd share and see what feedback this yields.

Anyone have more than 400K on the original motor give me a shout. I'd like to here about it. Now rolling at 411K, the saga of the SR20 continues.

400K is impressive.

Here's an old thread I found: http://www.sr20forum.com/general-sr2...-sr20-car.html

Dang my life is way too busy! Thanks for replying man. I've put another 500 miles on it since I made the OG post. I have to say that this has been one of the best cars I've ever owned hands down! I've put 266K on it, 60 oil changes, about to buy my 13th set of plugs and the list goes on and on! Whoever gets this car after me is going to have a ton of extra parts I've accumulated over 5+ years.

I work in the pizza delivery business and it's served me quite well in the time I've had it. It sees 6K+ RPM's daily and continues to be very dependable but dang I hate the trannys in these things! Darn 5th gear! No worries, got another one on standby.

As much as I want to sell it in the near future it'll be hard to part with it being it has carried me through thick and thin. I do get attached to some of my cars.
