Sticky Clutch????!!!!

I was test driving the '93 se-r that I am looking at again today and I noticed the clutch is sticking sometimes(like before). I went to shift into 4th and when I let my foot off, the clutch stayed and then wham, it just dropped and made a loud clunk(it catching). Is this normal, or from a new clutch or what? It may just be me not being used to a new car.

Thanks, shea.

My friend, I seriously dont think your clutch should be sticking. I have driven manuel transmissions all my life and sticking isnt good. If anything it should jerk up with out sticking. Just make it an excuse to buy a dual friction clutch.:-)

sound like it is time for a new clutch cable. Or the floor mat is in the way.
