I don't want to sound like The Boy Who Cried Wolf, but we've got about 10 more sets of GenII Hyperco B13 springs for sale.
Rick held back four sets until he was absolutely sure every paid customer received thier shipment, and Hyperco 'found' some sets in thier factory.
Unless Rick decides to pony up the money to have another run made, or we get another 25 or so prepaid orders, this really will be the last chance to get these.
Thanks again everyone for your continued interest in these springs!
Chris

We had extra Hyperco 300/200 springs made in round two, and they're ready for sale NOW!
These are the same great springs that nearly 100 people have bought, and this will probably be the last chance to get them.
They fit 91-94 SE-R and NX2000's, the spring rate is 300lb front / 200lb rear, with a 1" to 1 1/2" drop and they work like a charm with KYB AGX's. Don't be put off by the high spring rate, your car will ride and handle better than stock, and WAY better than ProKits! There were many people in the first and second round who happily tossed their ProKits in favor of these springs.
This is a special order, since Hyperco usually only makes springs for race cars (F1, NASCAR, CART/Indy, IMSA, SCCA Trans-Am, etc), so when these sell out, that's it! We have a limited number of sets available, they WILL sell out, and they'll be sold on a first come, first served basis. Don't miss out!
They're priced at $269 per set plus shipping which is approximately $20 to the west coast, and $10 - $15 everywhere else.
If you're not familiar with these springs, please take a look at some of the excellent feedback we've gotten from happy forum members....

You just turn and the car goes where you want it, no body lean, no questions asked. You have no idea how fast you’re cornering until you look at the speedometer, then you don’t believe you're eyes. Wild. I don't know how they managed to make a suspension setup that handles so well, yet is so comfortable to drive in. Great job!

Hyperco Gen 2's are on!!
I must say I am VERY impressed. Outstanding product and I love the look!!
SERprise In WV
I finished the install of the new Hypercoil 300/200 springs, and can honestly, flat-out tell you that they are wonderful.
The ride is firm, but not harsh over bumps. Ride height is about 1 inch lower than stock, and one inch higher than ProKits. Just perfect, IMHO.
In my opinion, my SE-R feels like a totally different car than it was before. Even though the harshness is gone, the transitional abilities are a step above what ProKits had to offer. The car stays flat and goes where you point it.
Best *conventional* spring I've ever ridden/driven in any car. Just perfect.

It's been a few days now and a auto-x since I installed my springs. I also built and installed a rear STB at the same time . My comments are pretty much like everyone else, cornering is much more flat, turn in is crisp, and looks are great also.
Ride comfort isn't compromised allot, it really isn't that bad, bumps are not harsh, just a little more disturbing than stock. On and off throttle the car moves very little.
Auto-Xing, With the springs, AGX's and Azenis it was a HUGE change for the better. I was doing things with my car I didn't think was possible. I truly believe with a little more fine tuning I will be as good as a Koni/GC setup on a Classic.

This set really does soak up the big bumps and dips way better than the stock setup. The progressive spring rates seem to really help keep the chassis off of the bumpstops. Braking and accelerating are very much different from the 100,000 mile stock setup. Dive and squat are markedly reduced, and turn in is much sharper than the previous wallowy stock suspension.

Excellent springs!! Smooth install, great fitment. No weird noises or anything. Nice blue colour too.
Performance: Wow! Had my first auto-x on them last night, and understeer has been reduced hugely- I would say by about 70%. Car is now more prone to throttle oversteer - which is a good thing - much more neutral and predictable handling. The lack of understeer is just awesome.
FYI - the springs are on over *stock* dampers... can't wait to fix that!

Chris, you're killing me... you are the biggest damn tease. Now, let's see, if I don't go to Birmingham, I can afford them. But, when's the next time the meet will be within a day's drive? Who knows... maybe I'll get lucky and ..., nah, I don't get that lucky.
I swear to God, if you have any left over by the first month of '04, one of the sets is mine.
Later,
Mark(never bust your annual car budget on one frikking upgrade)

Yup, I have a few sets left. You already know that they're better than Gen1's (higher spring rate, and less rear drop, so you'll have a nice even ride height).
I can give you a shippeed price if you give me your Zip code.
I thought these springs were linear? They look like progressive springs to me. If they are linear aren't they 300F/200R? What would it cost to have them shipped to 65401? Thanks.
how much would it be shipped to hawaii, 96822? also i currently have gr2's and don't have the money for agx's yet, but how will the gr2's hold up with the hypercos?
Hey Chris,
I just had my hyperco's installed today with my
KYB/AGX's. The drive home from my friend's shop was
so sweet. My car feels like a totally different ride now.
Just like other peeps responses, you point and she goes.
No nose dives and she just stays pretty flat when pulling
hard. And my shocks & struts are only set at 2 front & 4 rear.
I would post some pics right now, but I can't find my
digital. Hopefully tomorrow.
Thanks Chris

FedEx Home shipping to 65401 $13.
The springs are slightly progressive, most of the progressive portion is taken up by body weight. See the Technical Document below.

FedEx Home to 96822 $52.
I can't give you a definitive answer on the GR2's, do some searching, there's varying opinions on them.
SR20DE Part Number: Gen2.SR20DE, Individual components of spring kit:
Front Spring P/N: SR20DE.Gen2F
Rear Spring P/N: SR20DE.Gen2R
Retail Price: $269.99
Product Characteristics: The spring kit is intended as a special-purpose performance and appearance enhancement product. When a vehicle is equipped with the new Gen2, SR20DE Forum Sport Springs there are several elements that improve the overall handling. Gen2 SR20DE Forum Sport Springs lowering is designed to take advantage of the existing suspension geometry and to optimize the relationship of the roll center axis relative to the center of gravity of the vehicle. The lowering improves the appearance of the vehicle and provides the best compromise between the ride and handling characteristics.
The R3 progressive spring characteristics permit the ride frequencies to stay within acceptable limits, but provide the added spring rate to achieve bump load capacities equivalent to or greater than the original equipment (O.E.) springs. The softer initial rate is designed to provide the initial O.E. pre-load when the suspension is at full rebound. When the suspension is functioning in its normal operating range, the spring rate provides a controlled performance ride but offers enough compliance to maintain occupancy comfort. The selection of rates provides the best compromise between performance and comfort.
The optimized spring calibration reduces the pitch of the vehicle under heavy acceleration or braking. The reduced longitudinal pitch of the vehicle during heavy braking improves the overall braking efficiency because the higher rate of the front springs reduces the amount of load transfer to the front tires. This causes the load on all four tires to be more evenly distributed providing additional traction to the rear tires. The additional gain in rear traction usually results in reduced braking distances.
The proportionate increase in spring rate also reduces body roll, which limits adverse suspension movement. This confines the suspension geometry to stay within parameters that enhance the tires’ contact patch relative to the road. The result is improved vehicle cornering and handling, because front and rear tire loading is more evenly distributed. Therefore, higher cornering limits can be achieved because the built-in understeer characteristics are reduced and provide for a more neutral yet safe handling vehicle.
Spring Type:
Front: R3 progressive helical compression, coil over Strut.
Rear: R3 progressive helical compression, coil over Strut.
Spring Configuration:
Front: Top – semi closed tangential end. Bottom – semi closed tangential end.
Rear: Top – semi closed tangential end. Bottom – semi closed tangential end.
Spring Rate:
Front: 145 lb./in. – 300 lb./in. working range 260 lb./in. – 300 lb./in.
Rear: 90 lb./in. – 200 lb./in. working range 180 lb./in. – 200 lb./in.
As a result of customer feedback, this Generation 2 kit has been enhanced with firmer spring rates, a slightly increased static height to provide additional suspension travel, and jounce loads. The charts below show the differences between the Generation 1 designs and the improved Generation 2 designs.
I just installed my Hyperco's with AGXs this weekend. I must say its a huge improvement over my old school setup of Prokits and Tokicos. I actually have ground clearance now too. Thanks Chris! Here are a few pics.
