Door hinges, left vs. right

I bought a couple of door hinges, and I think I was sent hinges for the wrong side. I pulled an old driver's side hinge, and it was mirror image of my new hinges, as if the new parts were passenger side.

Driver and passenger hinges don't interchange, right?

The part numbers on the ones I got:

80400-50Y00 (painted black)
80400-65Y00 (coated with some sort of plating, unpainted)

In the parts catalog, these numbers will pull up a description that just says "hinge assembly front." Not much help. Anyone have the part numbers for driver's side?

IIRC, they are made to fit both sides. Just make sure you have the correct one on the top and correct one on the bottom.

Jim,

The hinges are the same from the left to the right side, interchangeably from the NX to the Sentra. There are only two hinges. The bottom one from the passenger side is flipped and fits on the top of the driver's door, and the top from the passenger door fits on the bottom of the driver's door.

How do I know? I took the two hinges from the passenger door of my parts-bin NX2000 and put them on the driver's side of my SE-R. This cured my sagging door. NX doors are nowhere near as heavy as Sentra doors. I just had to spray the red hinges from my NX white to match my SE-R.

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys.

Hinges seem to come stamped "FUL" for front upper left or "FUR" for front upper right. I got two FURs, and went ahead and installed them at bottom left and upper right.

I originally intended to do only the driver's side, but I'll go ahead and replace all four. Changing hinges is fun!

So, if anyone comes across this searching, each door requires a 80400-65Y00 and a 80401-65Y00.
