im doing the exact same thing. i cant stand my pos NX suspension anymore. i want these Teins. i havent contacted anyone yet lately about it though. i figured when they come out they will come out. if i find anything out ill keep you guys posted. I havent heard from Tevs in a hell of a long time either. everyones been really busy lately i guess.
nope. im going to find out though asap. Tevs is currently busy with other things as i have found out so im going to try to pick up and see whats going on. ill try to keep you guys informed as much as i can
Sorry i have not posted in quite a while as i am currently here in Baguio CIty, Phillipines, i will be back Stateside in around 5 months time.
Concerning the TEIN Suspension, i talked to Roland recently and he was the person i sent to TEIN to get his Classic used for measurements, TEIN will be contacting him once they get the prototypes brought over from JAPAN as he has a completely bone stock B13 SE-R they will be testing and fitting the suspension on.

Hey Tevs, i talked to the guys at Tein usa, they told me the Flex's are not going ot be made , and it will be at least June til the coilovers come out. i couldnt wait this long. i saw this D2 coilover deal coming on, so i took advantage of it. However, i will still be glad to help you out with the Tein stuff and ill keep posted on it. My car is about to fall apart because of the suspension so i needed something asap. Plus, i only wanted the Flex's anyway. they told me the prototypes wont be in until about 2 months anyway. And i talked to them wednesday iirc.
The Company is D2, and i have heard that the same manufacturer than makes Teins makes these as well. They are a company out of Taiwan. Thier Japanese company is K-Sport. The struts are 36 way adjustable, and Spring rates are custom. I chose 390 lb springs all around as a base, then bought 500s for the rear. they are ride height, camber adjustable, and im probably leaving out some other things. Im taking a gamble, its just i cant wait for Tein, and they arent making the product i want now anyway. so if this goes down the sh*tter i imagine i will import some Tein HAs or JICs for the GTiR
Dude! 500 inch/pounds in the rear, your NX will Rotate and give you wiplash (mad oversteer specially if a rear ST sway bar is thrown in the mix)
Best of luck on the D2's. I will be going to Manila to check the prices for the TEIN/JIC suspension for the Pulsar GTiR (Hopefully cheaper in Pesos + the fact i am about 2 and a half hours away from Japan via Plane...hmm..tempting ) I will also search the Nissan Surplus places and hopefully score on some used TEINS.
LOL. I figured they would be like that. the 500s are *Experimental*. If you find any of the GTIR JICs or Teins that are MAD cheap, hit me up. I may want some anyway. I can play around with setups hopefully. Besides we could get them rebuilt over here in the states anyway. oh, i would want the models with pillow ball mounts. I know the JICs are by far the best though. so if you find anything, hit me up through here or call me ( you still have my # i think). It would probably be best to just PM me though through here, i wouldnt want to imagine the phone bill from Taiwan.
My Tein dealer and buddy has called them up about two weeks ago and he said that all the Tein kits should be ready by the end of April/beginning of May. That's what I heard because he had them on speaker phone in his office. As soon as I they come in I will get the Type Flex with EDFC for my Egg. Hopefully this will make my drifting style of driving alot easier. IT WON'T BE MUCH LONGER! EVERYONE JUST HOLD THEIR BREATH AND THERIR BLOWN STRUTS!

Tein should have gotten on this sh*t years ago. I signed the petition, but they failed to come through with their deadline and didn't give us the suspension we asked for. So I went with D2s. With coilovers, fully adjustable struts, pbm's, camber correction plates, a set of drag rear springs and shipping, they're still cheaper than Teins. And supposedly they're made by the same company. Who knows, we'll find out if the D2s are any good when I get some.

Ditto, I would have purchased the teins without question. I just needed them sooner...... went with D2s as well. Saved $ also
