Brake pads?

Its time to change the brake pads on my b13, this is the first time doing it on the this car since I bought it. I wanted to know what type of brake pads works well with this car.

OEM Nissan is fine. I just re-did my fronts with OEM pads, and some nice rotors. Feels great.
Axxis Metal MAsters are good for a bit of extra bite. There are other newer axxis pads too I think.

Axxis Ultimates!

My car stops on a dime now, there is no play whatsoever.
HIGHLY recommended.

The down side? THey dust like crazy. Be prepared to hose off your wheels once a week if you want them to look good.

The Ultimates are almost a little too touchy on my S13.

I couldn't afford the Ultimates so I bought the Axxis Metal Masters. Worked really well especially after I bedded them in. I actually have AD22's right now with crappy brake pads and I swear the AD18's with the Metal Masters stopped better. This goes to show that pads are extremely important rather than just getting bigger brakes (just can't afford new pads right now though).

I agree. Good pads are usually plenty unless you do a lot of road racing and need larger heat sinks. Yeah, and don't forget to break them in correctly. And change your fluid.
