I have actually thought of installing brake ducts on my car. I seen a Vette @ a auto-x that had ducts that where installed with brake duct fans.
He bought them from a company around Charlotte that sold used NASCAR equipment. He said they where only like $10 a piece and they really helped his breaks stay cool while he road raced. I will try to get a link to there website.

You could do this on a Classic easily. just run some good metal, pliable ducts from the holes under the bumper leading to the brakes. I thought about it, but if I did that then my Hon240 CAI wont get a fresh dose of air!!!

or just buy the smc babk and not have to worry about anything, but really, brake ducts will only work well if you are hauling ass or the flow is pretty straight.
Brake ducts are tough on a classic. On the driver's side, you've got the black box "resonator" in the fender well in the way. On the passenger side the oil pan and assorted engine parts are taking up room, not to mention the washer fluid reservior is in teh fender well taking up that space.
I tried this a few times last year with so-so results. The best thing to do probably is to get the NX2000 brakes and cut away the splash guards. The BABK is overkill and unnecessary IMO, unless you've gone turbo in a major way.
NX2K brakes, no splash shields, good brake pads. If you need any more, you are using the brakes too damn much.
Hey matt, this is off the topic but if your brakes vibrate at high speeds of say 90 and up what would that mean that its warp of course but why? because of improper break in? or what? i mean it still brakes but i hate that pulsating feeling.

Brake fade isn't common at all at an autocross and really isn't a true test of braking power. Stock brakes are fine for autocross purposes so long as you have decent pads and have bled the brakes.
