Will a 91 ECU work on a 93? Both 5 speed

I have a 91 ECU I want put in a 93. Both are SE-R's with 5 speed trans, anyone have any experiece with ECU's about this?

what about a 94 usdm lowport ecu to run in a 92 with jdm highport? just curious.

how can u tell what year ecu u have? is their a code number
