FOR SALE: Polished SR20DE Valve/Cam cover

I have a polished Nissan SR20DE valve cover for sale...

The price is $185 shipped. Email me at sales@smpolishing.com , visit my website:SM Polishing, or reply to this post to get in touch with me.

Also there is a $50 refundable core charge included in that price, meaning if you return your old valve cover undamaged within 2 weeks we will refund you $50 from the original price. This way you get the polished valve cover for only $135 in the end.

Here are some pictures of the cover:

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you!
Scott

Nice VC, but for future reference you probably should post things for sale in the for sale section.

I'd be interested in that valve cover.....What kind of maintenance is required to keep it looking that shiny, what will the heat of the engine do to that finish? How much without the core? Thanks...

Patch1,

Just a monthly wiping off is all that is needed to keep it clean and shiny.

That's definately a nice polishing job. Only question I have is, what happens if I use some engine cleaner on it. I know with my Infinity VC I have, as soon as I sprayed the cleaner on it there went the polish.

Matt4Nissan,

I'm not sure what the result would be... it may depend on what kind of cleaner it is and what ingredients were in it... that may have been the reason yours lost its polish when the cleaner was applied.

Sorry I couldn't answer your question...

Matt4Nissan,
Thanks. I haven't tried any engine cleaner on one, but I like to use Mothers Mag + Aluminum Polish. Just rub it on with a terry cloth and rub it off.
