any one in so-cal that wants there valve cover polished let me know. DON'T go pay $150 or whatever people are trying to get. I can get it done for you for about $65. I went searching and i found a place to do them. I found it after some place next to sr20dev quoted me at $125 to polish mine. That wasn't even for a enitirely new one. email me if your interested.
So cal people only for now cause its not really a bargain for others if they have to pay shipping two ways. Its a small shop so i am sure they'll give me a bigger discount once i give them more business so i will let everyone else know when i get the prices down.
NOT JUST SO CAL PEOPLE ANYMORE. The price will be about $110+shipping. WAIT that is a deal cause we are not requiring a core exchange. So no down time plus sr20 valve covers go for like $55 anyways so you can make your money back. The fact that we are using valve covers we have extra is the reason for the higher price. Socal people I do need a core exchange for the $65 price. I can't do the core exchange with other areas cause shipping is pain to have you ship a valve cover to me then pay more shipping to ship it back. if i did that it would not be much of a discount for you.
What if we already have a spare to send you to get the polishing done? I'm still trying to decide between powdercoat or polish, and I've had a spare VC sitting around for a while. Obviously I'd be paying for shipping, but what would you charge just for the polish job? Or would it be just he $65 plus shipping charges? Also, I know I'd like to see pictures of your work before making a commitment.
if you want to pay shipping both ways i would be willing to give you the $65 price if you send me the extra valve cover and shipping. If you want i have extras i can get one polished put a pic up and if you like it you can buy that exact one. you would have to of course still send me your extra vc. But that way you can see before you buy and it will be a shorter amount of time till you get it back. I will put up a pic probably wednesday to show people the quality of work ( by the way its not myself polishing them its an actual shop). I wish i hadn't scratched mine up so bad or i would put that pic up.---I had to switch cams for smog in a hurry and tried to take a short cut in the swap and ended up taking longer and just mangling my newly polished valve cover thats ok i originally wasn't even going to put it on my car because mine was in pretty good shape and clean. but the polished one just looked too good.
try and find out how much shipping is to 91945 Lemon Grove, CA, It might be a better deal to just go with the $100 and sell your valve cover to someone. I am trying to hook people up and it would benefit me more to have your extra valve cover, charge you $65 plus two way shipping, but this is not about me coming up! I was just trying to give better options cause some people charge ridiculous amounts+core. I mean i found a good deal and thought would try to pass it on al best i could.
Hey man i already have my VC Done but i would like to say thank you *** man u didn;t have to do that i might even take u up on that offer *** i did mine by hand so i am sure that they can do a much better job. If u ever get a pict hit me up at trk6gs@aol.com or Jhakers@roanoke.edu i mean really thank u bro for hookin us up peace

Sorry for the late responses. I have been trying to get some more valve covers. I sold out pretty fast to some peeps in SoCal. Any one that wants to ship there valve cover to me I will have it polished show you some pics through email and then you can pay the $65+shipping again, or just give me another few days to get some more valve covers then polish them and make sure the polish comes out perfect. I have had 1 out of about 12 that did not come out perfect so that one is not for sale. And so now i am trying to polish them before i take money so that way I am not making any one wait too long after payment. Sorry about the wait ------------------Richard Casillas

I am struggling to get the valve covers. I have been busy trying to get my turbo kit together so as soon as I get some valve covers together and polish them I will email pics to those of you that have showed iterest here on the forum. YOu guys will have the first dibs if you still want them. Right Now I had to put a hold on people sending me theres to polish for the fact that I had one not come out so good after the polishing And i had to take a loss in paying to get another valve cover polished and spending money on priority mail so the person would not have more down time than I originally qouted
so let me get this straight I can buy an already polished vc from you for $110 plus shipping, if so I will send you my old one you can have it its kind of messed up cause my friend supposedly knew how to paint it but then the paint cracked off this winter, plus I botched it up more trying to sand the paint off, but anyways it may still be salvageable

for anyone wanting to buy a chroming valvecover just buy 2 cans of paint thinner . let one whole can sprayed on to valve cover let it sit over nite then pressure wash old paint off now dry it off an use other can leave it over night take off rest of paint. when done go buy some "mothers" metal brightener an if u have a waxer just rub the mothers on it an wax the sh*t outta it like its your car.... by this time u will notice a shine.......... dont spend money do it yourself............. to the guy selling the vc....... sorry..

HKS bluebird4 you. F_U to anybody that wants it done sh*tty go ahead and do that. I not asking for business just trying to help peeps out.
Charlie 2020 why don't you go out of your way and do that for every one??? Thats obviously cheaper. RIght.
To any one that wants it done through me let me know, otherwise it's not any loss to me. I just think its funny you guys are trying to hate. acting like I'm ripping peeps off with that price-YOur crazy.
A mothers polishing job will not come even close to a real polishing job. Those are good prices, and if its a real polishing shop you'll be guarenteed a good job. Using a buffer and some mothers = ghetto crappy and a lot of missed spots. Good luck
