A bit about Custom Steel

Well, some of you know me and some of you dont, so heres a bit of info behind the madness I call Custom Steel....

Custom Steel got its start in the body modification industry as you can see by going to the main site (www.customsteel.com), thru the years we have acquired several “big boy toys” that have let me persue other markets.

Admittidly an obsessive compulsive with anything I get my hands on, modifying my SR20 was no different. Seeing other components on the market that were poorly designed or a complete lack of product for specific applications led me to develop certain items that will soon be relocated to this forum, and soon to be on my Ultra Trick Component site(www.customsteel.com/sr20/)

Im pretty laied back, but take my work very seriously. Since its just me developing and prodcing these components, I normally make everything to order or do small batches of parts, so sometimes im just out of a part. Normally if I am, I can produce them in a week or so.

Custom stuff is always welcome and encouraged, there are a ton of bright people on this forum and they have great ideas. If you have one PM me about it and ill see if its an item Id be willing to tackle.

If you need to contact me you can reach me at work

I've met Pat once back in Alabama. He's definately a cool cat that makes some seriously topnotch products. I still have a water temp adapter that I got from him at the convention which I still have not installed. I don't want to because it's such a beautiful piece! (and I'm lazy)

Pat is also one of nicest guys you'll deal with. AFAIK, he already has a business unrelated to cars that demands his time. But does this on the side for his love of the cars and the community. Not to mention he makes some trick parts just for us sr20 guys! Do not hesitate to buy from this guy!

Pat is *CLEARLY* the absolute BEST vendor for our
market these days. Other vendors make good products,
or have decent prices, or have decent customer service,
but Pat EXCELS in all three time after time.

I would give Pat my money before ANYONE else in the industry
today. Size matters in many things, but Pat proves that if you're
going to do something, do it RIGHT, and you'll be successful.

I couldn't ask for more from a vendor, or even a customer for
that matter, as we've had dealings from both sides of the table.

For that matter, Pat exemplifies the qualities that make a true
SR20 enthusiast.

Gotta be jealous of his tax/governmental status, but hey, if you
weren't born native, you don't get it.

The other thing is that the fact that Pat has a lot of things
going for him based on where he lives, and under what
government, the quality of his products and service are
far better than *some* vendors I could name. And the
prices are better too! He doesn't pay any less for equipment
or materials, and he takes the manufacture of his products
FAR more seriously.

He's seriously intelligent too, nothing 'monkey' about a single
thing he makes. He takes his products BEYOND everyone else's,
by thinking through the entire installation.

I could go on and on, but suffice to say that I could sing his
praises indefinitely AND justifiably. If he ever makes something
I need, I will buy it from him before anyone elses.

Peter
