Custom Steel News: Feb-May 2006

Just to let all of you guys know ive got a ton of stuff on my plate at the moment. The two big things are some shows Ive got coming up.

The first being March 4-5 in Phoenix, AZ. This one is for some personal projects Ive been working on, not at all car related. The second is from May 1-5 in Las Vegas, NV. This is my major show for Custom Steel Body Jewelry, nothing like a week long party with tons of modified freaks

That being said, I will only work on SR20 related projects/orders from March 8-29, before and after those dates my machines are dedicated to getting ready for the shows.

Fuel Rail Info
Come March 1 will be raising the prices of all fuel rails I produce.

A new price of $150 per rail, yes you can bitch and complain, but your still getting the best damn rail on the planet, hands down. FPR adapters are still $25, and a new option of GTiR injector ports are now available for an additional $25 as well. If you want a rail at the old price of $120, you better get in touch with me before the end of the month.

RWD guys
Ive promised a couple of you some H2O adapters for test fitting, my apologies for not sending them out yet....Ill try and get on it before the end of the month.

Ordering
Any and all orders taken will be produced during the window of March 8-9th. All orders after that will be produced after the first week of may.

Lastly
With great regret, I dont think we will be attending the SERCA convention in the NE as the dates are too close to my convention in Vegas (damn you....damn you all to hell!!!)

This does not mean our presence wont be felt....Custom Steel will be donating some mighty fine products to the raffle...here they are

1) High Port Fuel Rail for top feed injectors
1) Adjustable Cam Gear set (+8* & -8* set)
1) Valve Shim Measuring tool
1) Complete T25/28 turbo fittings kit

So save some cash to purchase raffle tickets at this years SERCA convention, and pray you dont win a crappy license plate frame

Well thats about it in the land of Custom Steel.

Yay, glad to see you're not forgetting about us! Best of luck to you and I'm excited to see the new product offerings you're bringing out.

I think you should start manufacturing every single nut and bolt we need. I sure as hell rather have your product in my car than rusty 15 year old OEM stuff

Well guys, ive got some bad news.....

Last week my CNC started having some issues. I have a bad spindle bearing that puts a sever dampner on my production capabilities. I can only run the machine in limp mode (ie: 500 rpm max) until I can replace the spindle. Right now its looking to be a couple of weeks until that happens. Im gonna do my best to accomodate what I can run on the machine, so please bear with me on this....

I do apologize.

im gonna try and run that oil dist block on monday and see what happens. I think ive got enough funds to get the spindle fixed in a couple of weeks, been selling my home audio gear , and collecting on some long over due debts from friends...so I think im good...not to mention my sister is helping me out too. Bless her soul.

Oh, youll have lots of lisence plate frames....

We only have a handful actually.

Do you think you will still be able to donate the above stuff? If you can't get it done before, remember we can always do some certificates.

Well, just an update. The tech is coming tomorrow and I should have my CNC up and operating by the end of the week.

First up are the oil relocation blocks, after that, H20 adapters, then Cam Gears and fuel rails.

David: I should be able to get you actual product for the raffle, if not, ill definatley do certificates.

Thanks to everyone for being patient with me.
