gti-r manifold "WEDGE' spacer

....I'll try to get it made locally to test the angles but........4-9 degree..

.......there has been some chatter and intrest/intent on a wedge/taper spacer to bolt between the stock manifold and a large turbo that would have to be ground or need the block ground to fit........

........if there were corresponding washers with the reverse angle to give the studs an unbiases load.......something like this should work right?

........any way, do you think this is something you would have time for in the next month or so??

..........thank you for all your efforts put into this camp. .......__Jason

Yeah, ive thought of making such an angle plate...problem comes, 1) Youll need two exhaust manifold gaskets, 2) youll need longer studs on the bottom row of exhaust studs, and 3) Youll need spherical washers for the nuts to clamp down and do their job right.

I dont know if it would be worth it or not. Might introduce too many variables on keeping that thing leak free.

.....I was thinking of longer studs with a parallel releif ground into 2 brackets/draw-plates that would mechanically act more like a v-band type of thing......if you follow.....I'll be leaving shortly , I'll sketch what I was thinking while I'm there, Jason

Maybe a stupid input, but why not just make it uniform thickness, and not have to worry about crazy washers?

Youll still need longer studs in that instance, plus an angled spacer actually positions a turbo like the GT28RS in better position.

I have a flat spacer I wound up not using it, the GT28RS fit OK with just a tiny bit of grinding with my avenir manifold.

If anyone wants to buy it, PM me.
