No disreguard to the ES Shifter bushing, but this thing rocks balls!!
Drum roll please....
BOOYA!!!
This is designed to completely replace the rear bracket that holds the stationary shifter linkage. If you take a look, the stock unit is a super floppy hunk of rubber. Machined out of 6061 T6, this make your mounting point ROCK SOLID!!! I have never done the ES bushing upgrade, but I slapped one of these on my P11 with 227K miles on it and holy cow, this thing made a WORLD of difference...
Here is a side by side comparison, made to stock dimensions
Old Stock Bracket
New CS Bracket.
Yes, this will introduce slightly more vibrations into the cabin as your now attaching the shift linkage solidly to the car, im sure you can put a rubber gasket underneath, but who really cares about vibration anyway If your worried about the motion of the tranny putting more strain onto this piece, i highly recomend you upgrade to the prothane motor mount set if you have not done so....This also reuses all your existing hardware.
It should fit all B13/14/15 and P10/P11 5 speeds. B13 shown in all above test fit photos.
$65 shipped in the US

The classic feels left out cause of the attention the Evo is getting.
Although, I talk to it and let her know that she is still my number 1
not sure if the es bushing even replaces that part i think it goes somewhere else if so to have both of them in there would be great.
The ES piece replaces the bushing on the other end of the same linkage....so yeah, it would tighten it up even more....in my opinion, this is the sloppier of the two.

I agree, I have the ES bushing installed and it still feels a little sloppy. This will tighten it all up. I will be buying one asap.
