its a nut that has a sort of bushing attached to it. it comes with the cusco camber plates and its used to hold the strut to the camber plate but i have the progress coilovers and the thread is diffrent the cusco plates were meant to be used with the stock struts. let me know if i didnt describe them correctly. i could email you some pics if you would like of what i need and what thread i would need as well.

looks like its got a bad sun burn.
It is a shanked tapered lugnut. American racing sold them. I found a set in Arizona a year or so ago. The same nuts are used with the Shigspeed b13 rear mounts
ive still got the camber plates just sitting, i never did get back to any one about this im super uber busy, but i would still like to see what could be done. need to be the same as the part pictured in size but threaded for the progress coilover, the thread looks to be a standard thread
I emailed P@ today, hopefully tomorrow he will touch base with me on this one guys. Can't wait to see if he can pull this off for us. From the rest of the stuff he does, I don't think this will be an issue.
sweet we might be the only idiots doing this sort of thing. i just want to be able to use the cusco because i have them already and i also have the matching stb as well, dont want to have to up grade those for some pieces that are really expensive.
it looks dooable, youll just have to figure out the thread pitch, or if you can part with it for a while, i can pull dimensions off of it and figure out the thread pitch.
get me an address i could part with mine for a bit. im not sure the thread of the progress coilovers i know its a standard, i could even send you that nut also,
gio
If you can do that it would be great gio, I don't have the parts in front of me now to send him. I got them packed away with all my other crap as I am starting to get ready for my move!
So is the consensus that the Progress Coilovers with the GC plates will allow not enough bearing overlap at normal ride height? I am in the same dilemma as you geeio. I would like a pair of these as well just in case I go with the Cusco plates. Hopefully Pat will make some. I'll pay whatsevers necessary.
