Custom pieces...

Hey Pat. I was wondering if you could make something for me. I am currently on a quest to fit NX front seat belts into my four door sentra I just purchased.

The four door frame only has two adjacent 10mm head 6mm shaft bolt holes in the B pillar that could be used for mounting this sucker. Instead of switching the NX belt mounting bolt from a 14mm head 10mm shaft bolt to a 10mm head 6mm shaft I want to utilize both 6mm bolt holes.

Anyway, here is a picture showing you more or less what I would be looking for.

This is just to show you basically that you would need to drill 3 holes and tap one, and give the tapped one enough threads to be strong enough for a seat belt.

Obviously I would provide you with *EXACT* dimensions if you said this is something you could do.

Thanks,
Luke

Pat,

I pulled out my automatic seat belts a little while back, and I found that those two 10mm holes are the only thing holding the seat belt to the frame. Therefor, if we did this, it should be 100% in the safety department.

It's mid march, so this is me asking if you have any time if I send you exact measurements.

I am not educated in the materials department, so here is the part where I ask for your suggestion. I would want a metal that isn't very brittle in any temperature range... say -20* f to 120* f... but aside from that I could care less. Cheaper is better.
