CS - H2O Adapters

Well here you go, water feed and return for turbo setups. The unit on the right bolts between the head and the hose outlet piece. The red arrow is where an optional 1/8 NTP port will go if you want to put a temp sender in there.

The unit on the right is a direct replacement for the thermostat housing, the water feed will then return past the t-stat and water will continiously flow thru the turbo.

Both units come with 90* -6an fittings.

Prices shipped.
$50 for the pass side
$85 for the t-stat side (I will need your old housing in return, if not add on $20 to the price)

Wow those are slick! Do you have a projected price range? Are they going to be pre drilled/tapped?

Those look very nice. Would you be selling these already tapped along with the proper fittings? What is the cost range you expect to sell these at?

Great job on getting these constructed.

I'll take one of the adapters that fits on the passenger side of the motor. Both look awesome.

Thanks for the positive responce guys. One cool thing is that you dont have to cut hoses for these to fit.

Im thinking around $40 each or possibly both for $70, tack on $5 ish for priority mail.

Right now both spacers are around 5/8"-3/4" thick and can accept 1/8" pipe taps. This is the common size for the temp sending units that come with aftermarket gages. I doubt Id sell them with any fittings, just a tapped hole, but I might include the longer bolts and lock washers with them, if that will make it easier for the lazy ones out there.

on a side note...Im sure I can incorporate a larger tap size by making these thicker....

Nice!
Sign me up for both. Since I'm lazy, include the longer bolts and lock washers too.

I have a few questions. The spacer you have for the thermostat side, does the thermostat stay in the block? If it stays in the block it seems it would read low(not engine temp) until thermostat opening. Would it be possible to machine the spacer to accept the thermostat, that way it reads coolant temp on the engine side. I guess you could make these a little wider to accommodate mechanical senders?

Travis: The thermostat stays where it is currently located. With moving it, here is the delima....if you use a electrical sender, the probe might interfer with the thermostat if it threads too deeply into the adapter. And, as all us monkeys are, tend to over tighten things that are prone to leak. Right now the tapped hole is off center (see above) to clear the top half of the thermostat. An option is to make the point where the sending unit thread in a bit thicker so the probe doesnt go in as far and incorporate a ring seat for that thermostat.

If you wanted to pay for a custom one, Im sure I could accomodate the ring seat for the thermostat. And it would be thicker, Id need a mechanical sending unit(?) to do the test fitting on to make sure it would clear the spring assembly.

Hope this helps.
