lol, if I ever made a complete kit, it would be way too expensive for the *frugal* Nissan crowd Plus, I dont ever want to deal with hose and hose ends....way too many combinations out there for each particular setup.

Besides, there is a really good selection of remote oil filter mounts with -10an oring fittings on the market...Perma Cool has one of the better selections for not too much money.

If you want to be a baller, and add a lot more oil to the system, get the dual filter mount and run two filters

The best oil coolers ive found are made by Perma Cool again, these are trick and keep the 5/8 bore size thru the entire system, keepig your pressure loss to a minimum.

Yahnozha,

You would be the guy to do the kits man. If you figured out a basic kit you would sell way more of the oil relocation blocks. And I agree with using the Perma Cool filter head and oil cooler. (Even though a billet CS filter head would be cool) I could supply you with the hoses with the ends already on them. Then all you would have to do is package everything together.

I find that alot of people do not understand AN fittings, O ring ports and that kind of stuff. It's easy for me because I deal with it eveyday. Everyone wants a thought out kit. The guy who figures out what is needed for a certain application can really move some parts.

Did you figure out if it's possible to plug an oil pressure sending unit in?

I would like one of these for my race car, but I don't want to lose the oil pressure gage.

yeah it would be really freakin sweet if you made a filter head that used a nissan filter (53J00 or 65F00) and had a 18" BPST and a -4 AN for the stock and an aftermarket sender!

I wouldnt even care about a kit...i just dont want to have to go buy some chevy filter every 3000 miles, instead of the nissan ones I get at cost

(god I cant wait till I have the money for a milling machine)

Man if your going that far, why even bother with stock filters....with a remote filter location, you can upgrade to the large chefy/ford filters (additional oil volume, more if you run a dual filter setup).

Wix makes some nice ones at 25 micron filtration and less than 2 psi loss at 4 gpm with some other trick stuff, i think it would be worth it.

http://www.wixfilters.com/productinf...ilfilters.html

Ill probably get on these next week or so....ive been slacking I know, but ill make a hand full of these to keep on hand.

Yeah, I run a K&N Gold synthetic Ford PH8 size oil filter on my car now! It was rigged in there for a bit, not I get to take the time and mount it all nice when I get home.

Once I get some more of these build, im sure putting in an oil feed wont be too much of an issue....you may have to do without the stock pressure sending unit ***....I will know here shortly.

Hey Pat, can you do something about the placement of the coolant temp sendors? Maybe something where some gauges could be put in for coolant temp? Its almost impossible to get to the connectors when the motor is in the car.

??? I have one of the CS coolant temp adapters, and it was easy to install with the motor in the car.
