Art, dont despair. It's not you, it's LACR's high elevation. Cars usually run .5 - 1 second slower there.

No offense SERprise In WV, but doesn't NA mean ALL MOTOR??

To me Nitrous is a form of forced induction, providing increased pressure, therefore causiing a large increase in power.

Just a thought.

Well, Loe Lyf....

My engine IS naturally aspirated. Nitrous is a mod listed in both the Turbo and NA versions of this post.

I do not have a turbo on the car. Yet.

So there you go.

I wasn't sure about having a seperate thread for nawwwsss runs (since they can cross over to turbo/NA). I figured offsetting nawwwwsss runs with a red "N" would suffice -- it would be easy to tell at a glance in either listing that somebody used nawwwsss. In fact, I bet that if the "N" wasn't red, you wouldn't have even dissected Greg's time.

I like typing "nawwwssss."

Well I did better than last time at LACR even with three broken motor mounts. It kind of inhibited my launch. Unfortunately the only run with a decent RT didn't have a final time on the slip.

But here my Best Run I was lined up against ser-alex white SE-R vs Black SE-R but his looking cooler with that nice greddy exhaust.

Trys_Hard - 2.482 60' 16.393 @ 82.662 (92 Classic, Black) A

BTW I beat him by .005 lol But his RT was 1.266 and mine was lousy also but a 1.092. I didn't tell him to launch on the last yellow until our last run when I wasn't running against him! lol

I knew he had Nitrous, but it was just a thought. Excellent time though Greg. By the way, how did you get such a low 60'??

My 60-ft time is not nitrous-assisted, as the nitrous doesn't hit until just after the 60-ft lights.

Here's how:

-205/55/14 Nitto drag radials at 15-16psi
-5,200rpm launch on the MSD two-step
-A clutch that can take it (ProActive brand)
-A track just freshly sprayed with VHT (very important)
-A little bit of this, a little bit of that
-Voila', sub 2.0 60-ft times

I'm aiming for 1.8s this year...

Art, reaction times have nothing to do with ET times. You can sit there at the light for 3 seconds and still run identical 16.3 times. I've done it.

Yeah I knew that, It only helps you beat the other guy across the finish line. You can have a faster ET but still lose.

I should know better.

Added three new designations to the legend for people who have swapped in high port cams into their low port SR20, aftermarket diffs, and if your SR20-powered vehicle is unfortunately not equipped with a VLSD.
