Stiletto - 2.497 60', 15.487 @ 90.02 mph (99 SEL, platinum gold) YEAH SO U ^>.
my lesson learned after my first drag event? wheel hop, wheel spin, bogging the engine=really crappy times from a 140 whp sentra!! practice makes perfect, though.

Using this calculator, my car would have to weigh 2100 lbs to get into a realistic (143-147) hp range for my mods, given the ET and trap I run. Not likely, since I'm 170 lbs and the car was unstripped (minus spare). Car's still got the AC and cruise too....
My girlfriend amber hit 14.5@96MPH on street tires in her NX2000. she spun hard. 2.4 60' slicks are much needed for her car.

not much you can do about traction on street tires with a VE, they spin 1st from a roll.
i cant race on the street *** 1 and 2 is smoke but launching correctly at the stripp it is poss. its called there is alittle more rubber on the track than on the street

i know, i HAVE been to the strip a few times after all.
and more rubber on the track can be bad too, marbles dont allow too much traction. its the VHT that makes it more grippy.
just saying that there isnt much you can do with the car with the launches on the street tires she is running. my drag radials required me to launch at 2800, with a slip start. pulled a 2.27 60' time this way
i really dont mind street tires on the strip... obviously they are no where near the best but i pull 2.2 60ft times which is pretty decent considering im rolling on b13 wheels with 185/60/14's with cheap goodyears on them.. but then again i dont have a ve
yeah, 2.2 isnt bad, but there is nothing like pulling out ahead of some firebird or other RWD muscle car out of the hole and wiping that sh*t eating grin off his face. i pull 1.9 60' times, and that is spinning through first. i want to run 15x8x22 MT's next time.
