Lol I got a friend with a Daytona that tried 26" slicks. Broke an axle and then the tranny. Car made 525whp on the dyno, best run to date is 7.4(1/8th mile) at 18lbs of boost. Motor is setup for 35lbs of boost lol.

They actually didn't seem TOO big on the Daytona. He normally runs 24.5's. He turned the boost up to 24lbs once and left black marks half way down the track he was spinning them so bad. At this point he's having some parts made for the tranny so that it can hold up to the load of hp and big slicks.

Damn car looks good with 26's on it. I really thought it'd take more than a 7.2 to get 10's in the quarter as well. The 60ft really shows the size of the slicks though lol.

Fred, you really need the AEM EMS. It will set boost, has launch control, staged boost and will keep the boost up between shifts!

Did you trap 136 in 4th gear or did you shift into 5th.If it was in fourth most likely your reving over 8k.I just asking cause I will like to know if its better to stay on fourth or waste alittle time and shift into 5th.
