the 1st time i ran the pro class @nopi...i started out in the sportsman class and was sitting in 2nd/3rd place with my 1st 2 overall runs but than they swapped me to the pro4 class due to my plexi windows..so my 3rd run which was my 1st run in the pro4 class was enough for me to qualify into the finals...i ended up getting bumped out even though i out ran the cisco car who went 10.92 and i went 10.72@136 smoking the tires...when i questioned it they said i lost the race with a better time due to my reaction time...his .631 and my .575....it was one of the best runs i ever had as far as a real drag race,we were neck and neck until i finally pulled him by about a 1/4 fender up top...i'm proud of my car and that i made it to the finals in a pro class my 1st time out....the nopi crew said my runs will be on the speed channel within the next few weeks....i'll post up some cool pics once i make it down to the shop.... http://nyce1s.com/Race%20Videos/Even...tra%20SE-R.wmv

Congrats on the great times, but the times do not make any sense. According to the above, you left the line .056 seconds sooner and ran an ET that was .2 seconds quicker. That would give you a MOV of .256 seconds, something doesn't add up. Even if you swapped the reaction times, you would still have an MOV of .144 seconds and get the win. It's a heads up race, if you cross the line first, you win. You need to contact NOPI, sounds like they were playing favorites.
Kevin Francisco 91 Honda .361 10.922 136.77 Winner
Fred Casey 91 Nissan .575 10.723 136.18
A .361 to a .575 makes sense and that was a very close race, he had you by .015 seconds. Don't worry, you would have been disqualified for going over 135mph without a 9 second license anyway.
Awesome news Fred. Great to see you out there on the track.
Killer Pic.
