Looking good buddy! I have too many suspension parts sitting in my living room man. Hyperco's, RM's... Tomorrow would be a good day to work on the classic a bit.

... Maybe

WHAT IF?

the mayor problem to use a suspension that lower the car more than 1 inch, itīs the 3" the shock have of movement, right?

what if? Iīll do the shock go upper, making more thread in the part that you secure in the pillow mount.

I heard this from people that actually did.

It will be the same than csk?

Shock travel is the problem, you need to make the tower higher but it will hit the bonnet, or make the shock shorter to keep the same amount of available travel.

Raising the upper perch is exactly what the GC Camber/Caster plates do. BUT you can't do it with the oem size springs.

My search was for a B14 generally

Voltland... found both b13 and b14

http://www.vogtlandsuspension.com/p2...duct_info.html
http://www.vogtland-na.com/sportsprings.asp

I emailed both the company and the distributor to see if I can get an answer.... I have a feeling it'll be a weak spring like most ....

Arospeed....
can't find it on their website
http://www.arospeed.com/productapplic.aspx?currentpl=11
must be a discontinued part and they are selling the remaining springs....

Maxspeed...
http://www.maxspeedperformance.com/x...=14406&cat=117

can only imagine how well these are put together, description says it all

Guess you can only rule out that if you want cosmetic drop.... there's MANY to choose from... but trusted and performing springs.... no choice but Hyperco or Road Magnet

I personally probably wouldn't go much higher than the 440 springs i currently have on there. Some people like their damping a touch lighter than i do though, so you may think it's tolerable.

8610 or 8611's would handle it like a fat kid with cake.=)

Here's what I got:

Aerospeed - I called them directly. Discontinued for our cars (B13/14/15).

Maxspeed - I called them directly. B14 only. Drop 1.5" f, 1.4" r. Spring rate "25-35% stiffer than stock." Yeah, that will suck. Would work fine for a DD with CSK's. For a serious performance suspension? No way.

Voghtland - Already included under "Other Springs" in the thread. I did e-mail them and ask them for the spring rates. Which they probably will not divulge.

If anyone gets any additional information, I'll be happy to include it.
