Im aware of the size of fly wheel bolts. I hve done auto to 5 spd before. s long as i dont need longer than stosk 5 spd bolts witch we already have those and a few other things already. the only thing really than wee need that isnt on it way yet is the flywheel. but i am not still sure on the pp bolts whether i need z32 ones are not but i think i do need more. im not really sure if the z32 bolts are any different yet.
but im very exited to get started.

bell houseing just came in today before lunch brake. i was very amazed on how the srbel houseing had all the desighn to exept all brakets and such just as the spec -v does. i will be putting the trans tegether tomarrow. im going to pull the race for the diff from spec houseing and install in new bel houseings s i noticed it did not come with one already in it. If i can remember to tke a pick of the trans fully asembled with new bell houseing I will if any one is interested in seeing it.

will do. I will take pics to the best detil installed and done and such nd put those on g20.net
i should reseave my flywheels coming thursday so i really hope to get everything done buy next sat.
whhat i can say buy looking at spec trans and bell houseing so far everything looks like a 100% match up.
I really can't wait to have this done. once compleat i will be doing thease swaps for a few nj md and one nyc people. i will also offer putting the trnnys together for those that do not know how to do tranny work. i will not infact at all make a right up on on removeing nd instaling gear set from one trans to the next cuase i dont want anyone pissed at me cuase they messed up their tranny.

i will only take a pick of the tranny fully assembled as i will not fully asembe a tranny if it is not right. but really i se everything fitting and working as planed

Well I've got good news and bad news.

Good news is My trans is completely assembled and bolted in the car.

here's the not so good part.

to install the transmission in the car with the clutch and flywheel on you must pull the motor. Or, remove the center X member and lower the drivers side A LOT.

In the P10, the drivers side frame rail is about 1mm from the transmission. it actually rubs on it a little i think in one spot. It is a VERY VERY tight fit.

the rear mount just needs a little grinding on the top 17mm bolt hole and the stock rear mount will line up for 2 bolts. one 17mm head and one 14mm head bolt.

the drivers side will be a totally custom one.

I'll go grab my camera.

also, the steering rack is barely touching the transmission...

I'm really not sure how you sentra guys are going to be able to do this. Its going to be a lot more involved for you guys.

well, really the only mount that needs to be made is the drivers side one.

I dont think the P11 will be much easier. The hyd clutch is a slight advantage but I already found how to convert the 6 spd to cable. its pretty easy ( well from my point of view).

seriously though. I dont mean to burst anyone's bubble, but the 6spd in the B13/B14 will be a major pain in the ass. lots and lots of frame notching, not to mention the steering rack will be really close. Oh, also, the shifter assembly on the trans may touch the frame rail in a B13.

just wnted to show a few pics of my tranny. but what i can say is it is much more involve than builting are old se-r and g20 trannys that for sure. not hard but alot more time consumeing

the last pic is the 6spd sr tranny with spec bell housing next to it.
I will say everything in the tranny ws a 100% perfect fit as you would assume already cuase chucks tranny is together

So how much for a complete six speed tranny ready to bolt up to an SR20DET?

Lol just an estimate, if you were ever trying to do a favor for all of us. I'm not sure how much longer my tranny is going to last.

825 on what you see in my pics and spec trany has les than 3 k on it. that includes the axel braket not pictured. but you still need a flywheel another 425.
and the clutch and all shifter cables and such listed on the first page

I will agree with you that the 6 spd is a bit mroe involved in dissasembly and swapping the parts over. If you take your time, and dont mix anything up, its not too bad.

i did take my time thats for sure. i also learned loasd by actually building it. I feel when i put the tranny for my car together for my car it will be a breeze next time.

this is going to be a fun install. But i do have some news. i can say with ful confedince that the p11 mount for the trans will not work at all with this trans.
we have a p11 02 sport at work for sale. Im actually thinking of buying for a dd. but i pulled it in the shop and started comaring things a bit and this is something i noticed when trying to figure out parts better for install the p11 trans mount is placed compleetly different than the spec mount.
I totlly forgot to check the rear xmember mount. might pull the p11 in again and give that a look as well.

btu hay my flywheels came in today thanks miko. came in faster than you siad they would by 2 days
