So who has switched to hydro in a b13? I threw a S13 pedal assembly/MC on my b13 and it basically bolts up. You have to trim the lip on the firewall, possibly fab up a little reservoir, and triangulate the pedal assembly...but it looks as if it would work.

Does anyone have pics of a G20 pedal assembly on a B13? I'd like to see the pedal placement.

someone should check the part numbers for B13,14, P10 and compare to P11. the firewall hole and even the entire pedal assy looks the same as mine.

The new tranny should come with the switches from the P11. It's just 4 wires (2 wires per switch), just cut the P11 connector off and wire it into the B13 harness.

thats assuming the connectors come with it. The switches themselves can be purchased through GregV @ Mossy Nissan.

The connectors I still havent found out where to get them. I still need onemore. Currently I have my revcerse lights hooked up, the neutral is not connected right now..

You know, I need these too. I'm pulling the tranny out again because the clutch collapsed. I'll take some photos and put them up.

So when you buy the switches, they don't come with a pigtail and a connector on the end? What connector do you mean?

correct, sir. When you buy the switch its just the switch in a little Nissan Baggy.

I guess Nissan assumes youre buying it for the correct car so you wont need a connector to splice

Ive never had luck trying to order JUST a connector from Nissan. Most connectors on a B13/B14 you can find on other Nissan cars, but this one is pretty weird. I havent found it on anything in the junk yards. I wonder if we could find an aftermarket automotive connector/harness manufacturer and just have them make a sh*tload of them, as this will be a pretty popular swap (b15/P11 trans).

Know of any?

My impressions of driving my B13 w/B15 trans

To preface my commemnts, I have a B13 w/Bluebird motor and GT28RS Disco Potato, running about 14 psi and around 330WHP give or take. I just got the tranny in and have driven it maybe a week. I don't have any data regarding the strength. Maybe as time goes by.

So... damn my car is fast! The tranny gearing definitely feels short. I have a 45 mile commute and usually drive 85+, and at 85 it's turning around 4,000 RPM. Now alot of noises go away around 4k, but alot of sh*t gets louder too. The gearing is really high here. The upside is any speed above say 70, you goose the accelerator without downshifting, and the car builds max boost in a second, and you're going whereever you;re pointed. Unless you really need to get on it there is no reason to downshift. This car will is a freeway killer up to redline (about 160 mph), but who would drive that fast anyway .

1st and second are really low. I'm going to have to call Greg Perry and Rockwood, and learn how to drag start with a turbo car. I think short shifting it just past 40 mph, get it into third and friggin lay on it! I need one of those trick-ass boost controllers.
But all in all, it feels definitely short all over. Maybe because I spend so much time on the freeway?

Anyone wanna trade for a P11?

I just got a B15 transmission. I need a little info about the wires coming from the tranny. I know the one is for the reverse lights but the other one is for the neutral switch? I have a 1994 B13 and no light comes on when the car is in neutral (on the dash I am assuming), what does the neutral switch do?

I thought that is the safety switch that you press down on the pedal to keep the car from starting in gear? If you dissabled this from inside the car, then you dont need it to be hooked up. AFAIK.

Sweet....do you have any pics that show exactly how much material has to removed from the shifter stabilizer bracket. I would like to avoid the trial and error of grinding and installing/removing the trans if I could.

This posted on this mega long thread LOL. I believe this picture is from a b14 but I think it should be the same.

It's funny that you are mentioning this because I am installing my B15 tranny in my '94 this weekend!!!

I started to install mine today. I machined my B13 arm and did some other stuff. Oh yea.....my 1994 B13 electric speedometer sensor went right into the B15 trans. The little plastic gear seemed to be identical in size to the gear on the B15 unit so I believe it should work fine.
