good luck finding a transmission, let alone one with LSD. it took me a month of online searching and phone calls. That was at the end of the race season ***.
it isn't that hard to grind. If you did all the other mods on your car, you can do this. its not so much as difficult as it is tedious.
Great pics, thanks for adding to the post. I plan on going back and modifying my original post to include the other great info in this thread, mind if I use your pics?
Well.... I'm waiting for my B15 trans to get in to the bone yard, my car is Trans-less and I await the swap of parts.... going non LSD B14 to non LSD B15, mainly for the strenght. After reading the high points of this LONG thread, I feel pretty confident that I can do this! I'll let you guys know what happens
after installing EVERYTHING 2 times... I have my cable adjusted to the MAX and I have full pedal free play untill about 1.5" from the fire wall..... there is no way that I can get my clutch to disengage.... anyone else have this prob? Should I move my bracket? I think it's at the further set of holes already... I wanna drive my car again!
k..... problems...

different part numbers... IDK if I am the only one with this problem but i there is any one else who has swapped a B15 NON LSD into their 98 and kept the drive axles and had them work, LMK
Well what I have run into is that the passenger side will slide right in... but apparently not far enough, as the drive axle support bracket is about 1/16 " - 1/8 " too far away from the mounting holes... I can't put enough pressure on it to move it any more....
ALSO... I cannot get the drivers side in... I've had a friend hold the shaft, compressed it and I've hit it with a 10lb sledge and that &*(#^( won't go in... I cracked my axle nut in the process.... GRRR....
I guess the 98 200sx doesn't really accept this swap too well :/
You shuold be able to use the axle as a slide hammer to get it to go in....just make sure your clip at the end of the axle isnt deformed/ too big and it should go right in.
These are reman B15 LSD axles... well the one of the 2 pictured, I got both new reman B14 LSD axles, the pass side went in no prob, but the drivers side... Oiy.
Are these new axles still not it?
I give it a good whack, and feels like it seats... or at least I think it does. The circlip seats into it's spot and this is how far it sits out.... I can't get it to move any more, nor do I want to try....
